I'm glad Priya didn't just go long with helping Malini escape and sae that she was being manipulated. A less interesting story would have Oriya immediately trust Malini after catching feelings.

I read this book in a matter of days, which is somewhat unusual for me. I think Khana's story of healing from CSA trauma was very well done and moving. I also really enjoyed the themes of community power vs individual power. I also found the ending very satisfying.
