Dissolution is a new entry in the ever-developing Korps Universe, which explores a world in which the titular organization of "villains" fights against a world run by "heroes". Of course, the villains in this case are usually the progressive, queer good guys, and the heroes are the corrupt, bigoted baddies. This book follows that same formula, but with enough thrilling action to keep you on your toes the whole way.

Many of the Korps books I've read so far have been slow to medium paced, allowing time for touching explorations of trans identity in an oppressive superpowered world. Dissolution, meanwhile, is undoubtedly fast-paced, but still manages to pack in those explorations. Not to …
