The Corporation charts the spectacular rise of the corporation as a dramatic, pervasive presence in our everyday lives. With a deft mix of humor, visual panache and seriousness, this documentary is a timely, entertaining critique of global conglomerates.

Review of 'The Corporation' on 'Storygraph'

This is a good history of how corporations came to life and how they came to be so powerful. So powerful in fact that it controls governments. And therein lies my problem with this book: after explaining all the ways in which corporations influence government and citizens alike, the author offers as his only "non-utopian" solution a set of regulations that governments need to implement to combat the corporations (that pay them). Utter nonsense. This book would have had a better rating without these laughable solutions stapled to the back.
